AKABFE
Association of Korean Agricultural, Biological, and Food Engineers
The Association of Korean Agricultural, Biological and Food Engineers (AKABFE) convened for the first time on July 30, 2012, during the ASABE Annual International Meeting in Dallas, Texas, USA. A second meeting was held on July 20, 2013, in Kansas City, Missouri. Soon thereafter, in order to formalize and regulate the creation of meaningful and constructive activities, a group of the founding members drafted a set of bylaws to guide the organization, and a ballot listing those proposed bylaws was sent to the members. By of the end of 2013, a majority had voted to approve all the bylaws, and the AKABFE Community of the ASABE became formally established.
